    The Future of Cities 2012: Investment for Urban Growth

    Cities are the engines of economic growth, but what do they need to do to secure and maintain this growth over the long term?

    This conference will ask how cities can attract investment for their development and what innovative financing solutions are emerging in response to the multi-layered challenges that they face.

    Sustainable Energy and Environmental Sciences

    The Annual International Conference on Sustainable Energy & Environmental Sciences (SEES2012) aims to provides a platform for academics and researchers to deliberate, network and present their research findings on sustainable energy, ecosystem and environmental assessment, and waste treatment amongst other areas.

    The conference will be held in Hotel Fort Canning, Singapore from 13-14 February 2012. The conference Organizing Chair is Prof. the Hon. Dr. Stephen Martin, Technical Program Chair is Dr. Jalal Abedi and the Editor-in-Chief will be Dr. Adel Elsharkaw.     World Water-Tech Investment Summit - Financing innovation in wastewater reuse and smart water infrastructure

    The Summit will draw together utilities, engineering consultancies, technology developers and investors to identify the greatest opportunities for growth in the global water sector, focusing on today's most exciting areas for innovation and investment:

    • Wastewater reuse and energy recovery
    • Smart, data-driven solutions for water treatment and distribution
