WaterAid is the UK's only major specialist development charity
exclusively dedicated to the provision of safe, domestic water,
sanitation and hygiene promotion for the world's poorest people.
Working through local partner organisations, WaterAid uses low-cost
technologies appropriate to local conditions, and involves local
communities in the planning and construction of their new water
supplies. Through these integrated projects WaterAid, to date, has
helped over six million people achieve lasting health improvements
and a better quality of life.
