An investigation has been launched by the UN relief agency in
Somalia, after a Channel Four programme alleged that food intended
as aid was being sold for profit in Mogadishu. Somalia is facing near-famine conditions. The UN food aid programme is expected to feed 3.5 million Somalis in desperate need. |
